SOURCE: brake light on 2001 chevy blazer LT 2wd
When my blazer did this they had to replace part of the wiring harness in the steering wheel. It took forever for them to get the parts because we live in nowhereville, but once it was in it works again and no problems. I had to take it to the actual chevy dealer because none of the other places had a clue. good luck.
SOURCE: at various times all the warning lights go on/off
i HAD THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. IT HAS BEEN AT THE DEALER FOR 2 MONTHS UNTIL THEY FIGURED OUT WHAT HAPPENED. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT WAS THE MAIN CONNECTOR THAT CONNECT THE COMPUTER AND ALL THE MODULES. iT WAS FILLED UP WITH SODA THAT I HAVE SPILLED INSIDE A CAN COUPLE OFTIMES WHICH CAUSED A ELECTRICAL BREAKOUT AND ALL THOSE WARNINGS POPPING UP AS WELL AS LIGHT BULBS MULTIPLE FAILURE AND ALL SORT OF ELECTRICAL ISSUES.
SOURCE: 2001 chevy s10 blazer abs light stays .
The abs is a add on for the brakes that when the tires come into a skid or slid they wont lock up..Your brakes will still work great with the abs disabled but your brakes will lock up if you push on the brakes hard enough to stop.Mainly abs works in slippery conditions not letting the tires lock up and keep the car rolling instead of making it slide..But no effect of the brakes will happen..Just make sure your fluid is full and there are no leaks and if you want to get them check you can stop by your local Auto Zone and they will scan your car for free and tell you what sensor is bad..I hope this was helpful to you...Have a great night

SOURCE: i have a chevy s 10 brake lights don't work
Brake light relay is bad. It is the third solenoid from the left on top of firewall under hood. If this is bad, the third (cab top) brake will still work fine, but no rear brake lights!
SOURCE: is the RPM gauge and the transmission connected
Anti lock brakes and traction controls will light if there is too much tire pressure differential. That mean a low tire turns more rpm in a mile than a full tire so it constantly thinks it is slipping in either /both taking off or braking... Tire pressure is important. Check it!
