Won't come out of park unless I turn key only half way on without starting truck?

The park lock system is tied to the brake light circuit, so if the brake lights (low mount lights only) do not work the lock will not disengage park lock except by bypass method. Start by checking the brake lights.

My asb light comes on when starting and stays on. Lights won't come on , power locks won't work, power windows won't work, radio won't work. All fuses are good and car runs fine.

Those are all really common symptoms of the alternator going bad on those cars. I would have it checked to make sure it's charging properly.

Key in ignition won,t turn 2004 ford escape

several things, does key go in and out easily, turn steering wheel in both directions while turning key. sometimes the steering wheel lock binds the lock cylinder and turning wheel releases the pressure and it will turn. other than that the ignition cylinder is jammed, wet key lightly with lubricant such as wd-40 and a light bit in key hole and try key again, If key is heavily worn out , try a different ignition key as it might not be disengaging all the tumblers in lock, if all this fails you need a new cylinder.

Have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata that is getting stuck in Park and I have to press the shift lock release to put in D everytime

No, that's wrong. The setup on the Sonata doesn't normally require messing with the shift lock release at all. I had the same problem tonight for the first time after owning the car for a year and a half, that's why I looked up this issue.
