I have a 2009 Chevy Avalanche LS and I got the P0700 code, how easy is this to fix? where is the TCM located? If this is a dealer service how much?

DTC P0700: Transmission Control Module (TCM) Requested MIL Illumination
The transmission control module (TCM) uses the (GMLAN) to signal the engine control module (ECM) that the TCM is requesting malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illumination. This happens when the TCM has determined that a failure affecting emissions has occurred in transmission control system. When the ECM receives the message from the TCM, DTC P0700 will set.
DTC P0700 can not be cleared from the ECM until the related TCM codes have been cleared.
This is something best left to a qualified repair shop , doesn't need to be the dealer ! AMMCO could fix it . This code is telling that other codes are stored in the transmission control module . Need a professional type or factory scan tool to check these . As to how much it will cost , no telling without knowing the codes in the TCM !

2005 chevrolet avalanche speedometer jump and transmission jump in and out of gear

you defently need to have that looked at as it can cause internal transmission damage. The ECM controls your shitung rage according to the signal that it gets from the speedometer among other sensors.
I don't want to bad mouth transmission shops but if you go to one 99.9% of the times they will tell you that you need an overhaul when all you may need is part replaced....

I don't know if it is an EGR problem or what kind of problem it is. Have a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche with Reduced Engine Power light coming on, a year ago we replaced the throttle body sensor after it was...

2005 Chevy Avalanche. And you did the Throttle body sensor. Reduce power light coming on, APP and TPS that a shot in the dark, As for the EGR if that is a problem The vehicle is a speed density it also uses a MAF (mass air flow) . Whenever that light comes on I'm finding it in the transmission parameter not the TPS or APP (accelerator pedal position) first the 2005 Transmission has a high failure record, There is a transmission pressure control solenoid that is given wrong input data and send the transmission to self destruct. If this is your second problem similar to last year go ahead put a throttle body sensor, but the APP need to be in sequence with it. As for the EGR no it wont cause sluggish failure it is monitored by the MAF if the MAF fails then its back up by the MAP. For the reduced power light get the ECM reflashed

2005 chevy avalanche heater motor shutting off when applying electric brakes on trailer

was the electric brake control module professionaly installed? first check the ground behind the module and make sure it doesnt share the same one as your heater. too much current on a poor ground can cause both circuits to quit working.

I have 2005 chevy avalanche and my blower stays on when the truck is off. what could be the problem?

I'm pretty sure there's a technical service bulletin for this... Something about the blower control module shorts internally... Yep, just found it. TSB 04-01-39-009B shows a replacement blower module for this problem. And yes, it will have to be programmed. Good luck
