Saturn EVAP Solenoid Location. ... How To Test and Replace EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve P0446 - Duration: 6:18. by CarsNToys ...
the canister is located underneath vehicle, I think. If the car has ever been over fueled when filling up liquid fuel would make its way to canister and it would be comprimised.
Effectively it is a evaporator canister solenoid failure, Tis can be triggering the other codes.
You need a scanner to test the solenoid so you can activate and deactivate the solenoid, if you hear
the solenoid clicks then it's ok, but if it doesn't click, then you have a faulty solenoid and you need to replace it.
It's an easy and inexpensive fix, if it doesn't click then just replace the solenoid, make sure you erase the codes with the scanner after you replace the solenoid. Ask your mechanic to test the solenoid first.
Attached there is a video of how to test and replace the evap canister solenoid in another car, but maybe it will give you or your mechanic an idea.

The 2007 saturn VUE FWD 4 uses a cartridge type oil filter instead of the traditional canister. The location of the oil filter varies, but for your car it is laying horizontally in the front of the engine next to the exhaust manifold.
Purge solenoid is going to be near the evap. canister...or attached to it via a hose. It will have an electric solenoid with a two wire connector. Most newer cars are under the rear of the vehicle near the fuel tank or just near the bumper. the evap. canister is probably going to be rectangular in shape.
