Depends how they installed the remote, there is normally an option to connect a wire to the horn and one to the parking lights, however it may be possible that they didn't attach those 2 or simply that remote module didn't have it, however most do. I also have a 2004 Kia sedona with approx. 80,000 miles on it. The air conditing system stopped blowing cool air into the car. The fan would work, but would not blow cool air. After doing a lot of research. After trying to find a car repair manual or diagrams for the Kia Sedona with no luck. We ended up taking it to our machanic. He then replaced the compressor and it is working fine now. I now know that this is common for the compressor to go out on this van.
