Charge and test the battery first. Or replace the battery with a known good one. The click is likely the starter solenoid that engages the start motor gear. Is nothing turns after that, the battery is either too weak or the starter motor is stalled by a dead spot or the starter motor is dead. Bump the start motor with a minor tap/hammer tap and try again. That may enough for the dead spot case. If so, go buy a new starter soon. Debugging a dead starter means putting a voltage meter on the starter connectors to verify the power is at the starter. If the power is there and it still will not turn, buy a new starter. I personally like Bosch starter motors.

Most likely your battery is the problem. put a charger on the battery with slow setting and allow to charge for a number of hours. Check the battery connections for clean and tightness.
Change a starter solenoid that's tour problem
The clicking will be the starter solenoid not getting enough juice. Check the battery charge, especially the connections, which may need to be cleaned. Use Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) in a little water to clean the connections, which will sizzle a bit. Wipe dry and clean.

First of all make sure all your battery connections are Clean and Tight. If they are and all your dash lights come on and its not starting But its cranking over Your anti theft alarm may have gotten activated. You may have to leave your Key in the On position for 20 minutes to reset the alarm. Not cranking just in the on position, Now if its not Cranking and your hearing a clicking sound it may be your starter. I have sometimes tapped on the stater with a deadblow hammer and had someone crank it over Making sure your in park foot on brake and being EXTREMLY Carefull that you are not going to run someone over. If that don't get you going Get back to me we can do some more trouble shooting. Get that thing going for you. Thanks, Bear001

This sounds like a weak battery or corrosion on the battery cable connections. The sound you hear is the relay and not the cylinoid.
