Tried resetting my car by disconnecting the battery for a hour. Outcome was it did not help. Checked fuses. They are all fine. I opened my dash and when I disconnect the display part number BE5T19C116AB panel nothing works on the radio/ stereo but the the battery drain has stopped. I replaced the display and radio with new ones, but I still have nothing except the display still says Ford Fusion. Any help?
You may need the Factory Setup data (codes) to unlock the radio. That should be in your manual.

The air bag light is meant to stay illuminated when there is a system malfunction. The testing and diagnostic procedures can be complicated for the inexperienced person, and require a Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB). Great care has to be exercised when servicing air bag systems, as accidental deployment of the air bag can be dangerous. You should refer this one to the dealer.

Pull out the spark pugs so, there is no longer compression. Put a wrench on the crankshaft pully. The engine will turn and the pistons will travel up and down. This is of course it the engine hasn't seized. If the engine turns its the starter. Simple.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but im afraid you need a new radio mate.Had exactly the same problem with my renault megane and ended up going to scrap yard only cost 25 quid and that included it being decoded,been fine since then.By the way don't go to renault i rang them and they wanted 300 quid for one,taking the ****,anyway good luck.
