Hello there:
this is verry easy to do, make sure to get some gasket adhesive
(1) remove the radiator cap
(2) losen the radiator hose at the engine side (this is where the
thermostat is located this will help drain the water out.
(3) remove the hose from the thermostat housing.
(4) remove the thermostat housing and you will see
the thermostat, do not forget the way that it is installed.+
(5) remove the old thermostat and remove all of gasket
that is stuck to the surfaces.
(6) apply the gasket adhesive to the housing surface and
install the gasket and the thermostat.
(7) apply a medium size bead of gasket adhesive to the other housing part and install
it and tighten it down and reinstall the hose.
(8) refill the radiator with water and start the vehical let run for 15 min and check for leaks tighten nuts if needed but not too much
or you will break the bolt ok if no leaks CONGRAT'S
hope that this has helped out a lot please rate this for me ok?
best regards mike
