Garage replaced O2 sensor TWICE check engine light keeps coming back on

My sister just finally passed inspection with her 2002 Elantra. Same exact problem and the sensor was replaced twice. Here's what you need to do. I know it doesn't make sense but I found it in a tech bulletin. You need to remove the alternator bracket that connects to the block as well as the engine ground and body grounds near the battery. Clean them off with a wire brush and also clean off where they connect to the body of the car. Reconnect them and clear the engine light. My sister's finally passed after that. It did not pass for 2 years until this was done.

you need take old alternator with you to auto parts stores they can match up your alternator give you the correct AMP TYPE, your alternator amps is stamped on the out side alternator housing, the auto parts store can look up right amp alternator for your vechicle.when you say dont matter yes it does if you get wrong type alternator, your battery wont have good charge causing alternator fail early and battery fail early.

I'm trying to narrow down why my alternator isn't putting out to the battery (alternator is NEW), I have some relays that i'm trying to replace (but they have no markings) and i'm wondering if they could...

There are fusible links between the alternator and battery that you need to check. See wiring diagram and some relay location picks from autozone.com

I need to know how to locate the external regulator for the alternator and where it is

The alternator is reglated by the Powertrain Control Module. (PCM) The PCM is mounted right next to the Power Distribution Center, which is mounted right next to the battery in the engine compartment.

I need to replace the map sensor in my 06 jeep liberty diesel...i was wondering if you know the location of the map sensor...i think it is location inside the airbox

The Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor is located on top of the cylinder head, right side, about 2/3 of the way back. there is one screw holding it in. You will need to take off the plastic engine cover off to access it. The sensor in the airbox is the MAF sensor.

Need to know how hard it is to replace alternator on 2001sephia

The alternator is located behind the head of the engine on the passenger side of the vehicle. There are 3 bolts that will have to be loosen or removed so the alternator can be removed too. Also the electrical wires will need to be removed. There should be at least 2 of them. One snaps or pulls off and the other can be loosen with a 10 mm wrench of socket. You'll need a 12 mm socket or wrench and a 14 mm wrench or socket to get to the bolts. Once that is acquired, the alternator should come right off. You'll need to go under the vehicle to gain access to the bottom bolt of the alternator. Replace the new one in reverse order.
