The problem with the factory radio / entertainment systems systems is that they are monitored and run on a computer network by the Body Control Module. When strange things happen, you need the dealership or a Radio / Alarm installer to reprogram them. When you reset it, you put it back to day 1, pre-program.
Depending on your specific vehicle the Intake Air Temp. Sensor could be integrated inside the MAF sensor, Air delivery duct to TAC, mounted to the Plenum, upper intake or lower intake manifold. If you need more specific information please write back with the Year, Make, Model and Engine Size.
