SOURCE: when place in four wheel steering becomes very
A Dodge Dakota with 4-wheel steer? Do you happen to mean 4-wheel drive?
If so, you should not operate the vehicle in 4-wheel drive when you are traveling on a hard, high-traction surface. When in 4x4, the transfer case connects the front and rear axles, and does not allow for differentiation of wheel speeds necessary when turning. This is compensated for when driving over low-traction terrain because the tires slip easier.
Basically, the jerking, bucking and locking of the truck is due to the binding. This will eventually lead to damage in the driveline. If the roadway isn't covered in snow, there is no need for the 4 wheel drive to be engaged.
SOURCE: front brakes not releasing
sounds like the pistons in the brake calipers are rusted.(you can check this by looking sideways into the brake disc/pistons,if so replace both sides together (easy job for two people.you need 2nd to help bleed brakes) if your not into diy then do not attempt this job.....safety
SOURCE: I have a kia picanto and my brakes feel like it is
sounds like you have a caliper sticking, if you dont have much experience with brakes ,i would take this to a repair shop. your emergency brake could be sticking as well. if it feels like it is pulling to one side when you are braking then it is probably one of the front calipers. which ever way it is pulling would be the caliper to check. if it isnt pulling ,then probably a rear caliper if it has disc brakes in the rear. if you have access to a laser temp probe you could just drive it for a bit and check each rotor for temp, the hotter one will be your problem child.
SOURCE: kia picanto rear brake lights will not turn off
Check the brake light switch on the brake pedal. It may need adjusting to allow brake lights to go off. The plunger on the switch needs to open when pedal is depressed, and close when pedal is released and in its normal position.
