Not sure where the freeze plugs are but these engines have a bad reputation of having the lower intake manifold gaskets that leak from their corners that connect to the engine block.

freeze plugs will be located towards bottom of the engine. It could be the water pump, or a bad hose.

there are a couple of ways to fix the problem. first you can use pepper to plug the hole if it is a small leak. If it isn't, then use radiator stop leak. You can find this at a parts store

no you have to go thru the holes in the front of the power steering pulley. Usually a ratchet with a deep 13mm socket will do to remove the 2 bolts located at 12 and 6 o'clock then you will be able to move it out of the way
