The pats ring has to be around the key used to start the vehicle.

It is on the same button as the Trip Odometer. Cycle through until you see Tire Reset and hold the button down.

1997 ford expedition security light flashin . its had a steering column replaced, and a stereo replaced before I bought it. cleared codes snap on code reader ,then weeks later, did it again.

Check the sensor ring on the column that's around the cylinder for a bad wire and check the receiver plug and antenna also check your key if it has a battery and the fuse for the pats system download the manual from ford owners. Com and go to roadside emergencies and your fuse box diagrams are in there and the fuse values and relay locations something is loose or corroded clean all associated with the pats system and write everything down that you did so things can be ruled out also check the column wire connections all the way down to the floor

How to replace ignition switch/tumbler on a 1995 Ford Bronco

Do you still have the ignition key and will the ignition key cylinder switch turn? If so, you turn the key to Run, press the button on the bottom of the steering column that's accessible once the shroud is removed, then pull the key and cylinder switch out of the column.

If you no longer have a working key, then things get a bit more tricky.

I don't recall what year Ford started using the PATS system, but if your 1995 has PATS you'll need to have the PATS module reprogrammed to the new key before the car will start.

2005 ford freestar horn broken

Ho, ho, ho!
At a local junk yard where I live they sell the horn button/airbag for $25.
You take them off yourself.
On either side of your horn button you should see two plastic plugs the same color as the horn button.
If you will pop these out, they will uncover 2 screws.
Removing those will give you access to 4 bolts which will remove the whole center-of -the-steering-wheel assembly.
Be blessed.

Need to replace spark plugs on a 2005 Ford Freestar mini van, not sure how to get to back spark plugs #1, 2, &6 how do I get to them.

You have a coil on plug or COP. to get to it you'll need a 1/4 drive extension.with a swivel socket and a 7mm socket youll just have manuver your way in , now if anything is in the way and your confident of removing what is the way you will suceed in removing the COP which allows you to remove the sparkplugs.

The cruise control in my 2005 Ford Freestar just stopped working yesterday, then this afternoon the radio controls in the steering column stopped working as well

clock spring in the steering column is my guess. They are delicate and have to do with anything in the steering wheel like airbag, horn, or anything that is operated by buttons on the wheel. These wires have to turn constantly with the steering wheel and the "clock spring" goes bad often enough
