Look closely at the cover. You will see a small slot. Insert a small flat blade screwdriver, and pry it off. Very easy..

SOURCE: 2000 toyota camry check engine

wires are pinched and shorting together near the left (drivers side) trunk hinge. brake light power is feeding back through the reverse light wiring. this will also turn on the check engine light with a neutral safety switch malfunction code as the computer also sees this voltage in the reverse light circuit. Find and repair the wiring, pull the EFI fuse in the panel under the hood to clear the code. Hope this helps

SOURCE: replace bulb on automatic gear shift console

If the shift console is on floor then look for bolts holding it down.  Take out bolts and then you can maneuver console so you can see where light is plugged in and get the right light to replace it.  It will probably be a small light which tend to cost a bit more, but at least you'll have the light back.

SOURCE: I have a 2000 Toyota Camry and the interior fan

There is a blower resister module that controls the speeds,it is located near the blower motor and mounts on the blower case.It actually mounts on the blower case, but goes inside the case to keep it cool, the blower motor is the reason the resister has gone out,it is drawing too many amps, even though it might be blowing good, and sounding good,it is the cause,so replace it also,or you will be replacing the blower motor resister again,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

The brake light on my dash stays on even when the emergency brake is off. THe interior light sometimes goes on when the door is opened, sometimes doesn't and the ignition light doesn't always come on

The handbrake warning light is activated by a switch on the handbrake bracket under the console. This is most likely stuck or broken.

The interior light staying off when the door opens is common. It could be that a door plunger switch is sticking (they can corrode inside), or there is poor contact at each end of the dome light globe. Take out the globe and press the contacts closer (just a bit) then push the globe back in, checking that it is firmly held. Then spray a little WD40 or similar on the plunger of each door switch and press it in a few times against the spring.

Which ignition light is not working, one of the warning lights? Or the check engine light?

Light on dash board that says O/D off

There should be a button on the gear selector. Push it and the light should go off. All it does is turn overdrive, or 5th gear off.
