There is not a factory plug. You must by a kit and connect through the tail lights. This will take 10 min at most 20 min for someone with minimal knowledge of tools and automotive work. Hope I am not to late with the info.

Need more information. When does it do this? At start up? When it warms up? What time of day and what weather conditions? This could be anything from a bad ground to you putting aftermarket parts on like a fancy radio or alarm. Is the vehicle AWD or 4WD?
