Try turning the steering wheel until it locks... if it still doesn't turn enough to remove then look for a little lever behind the cylinder to press to turn enough to remove the key. (may not be on your model)

Belts last about 6 years, more or less

Timing Belts have to be replaced anywhere from 60,000
to 90,000 miles,depending on the motor
