My durango started overheating without warning. The temp gauge amost got over to the red area but I turn it off and waited 1 hour, refiled the coolant but before I got to my 10 minute away location it started overheating again. I just refill my AC and thought it could be that. I replaced the thermostat. What can I do. I need help with the problem before I spnd alot of money on trial and errors. Please....
Two probably thing , you have a pluged radiator or the fan clush is not good, if when you are cruising it doesn' t overheating , but when you stop for 2-5 minuts it does, then is the fan clush, if when cruising it overheating then is the radiator . all this thinking that you checked the cooland level and changed the termostat with the correct oness
