Have a 2000 Ford Ranger SuperCab, 4.0 4x4 AirConditioner isnt blowing air. Compressor seems as if it is coming on and working properly. Airconditioning unit inside truck sounds Normal (ie: turn fan on, sounds correct, sounds louder (normal)when turned to high) Can feel cold infront of vent but there just isnt air flow flowing out of vents

remove and clean the pollen filter ,it should be under the dash passenger side ,but you may have to remove the glove box sorry on this but never seen one in my life so i wouldnt know exactly where or how

you could try checking your wiring from inside the car, maby is snapped or come off.

Low charge or bad sensor telling the system it has low charge, or dryer is clogged.

i have a 2000 4x4 ranger it has 4.0 extra cab my fuel mileage is good one day and the next bad from 5 miles to 18.8 per gal and i lose power and it seem that 4

it is located on the passenger side of engine. It is mounted on the valve cover and a hose runs up to the black air intake housing, it comes from the air filter to the carburator

have you had this put onto a aircon machine.
does your compressor cut in when ac on.
have u had air con regassed lately.

I don't know what relay switch you are speaking of, but the is a low pressure cutout switch on the receiver/dryer. (Small black tank in passenger rear of engine compartment). It cycles the compressor on and off with changes in the low pressure side of the system. If you have to move anything to get it working, chances are you have a bad wire or connecter going to the switch. Look for looseness in the wire or burned spots near the contacts. Again, I am not sure of the switch you are talking about. What is it's location?

Have you checked to make sure your compressor is kicking in when turned to AC mode?

idle air control is ran by the power of motor cause the compressor is attached to motor for the compressor you need an idle air control module for a/c compressor this should bring life back to your a/c
