I have a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer Premier I The a/c working fine going 0-50 mph. Above that speed the blower through the dash would stop working, but yet I could hear the blower still working. Once my speed went under 50 the blower in the dash started working again Strange! Any diagnosis or fix?
Strange for blower but not unusually for compressor. The usual high or low limit switch would cut off the compressor but not the blower. Maybe check alternator and battery voltage to see if there is a voltage problem. The blower motor resistance switch is problematic but I have not heard of one acting like yours.

impeller is made of plastic on teh water pump and its slipping and spinning on the shaft renew before weather warms up as engine will overheat

check the coolant level, I had the same problem low coolant level.....no hot water to the the heater coil.

I would check the fan first disconnect the electrical connectors on it and use a pair of home made jumper cables and run it from the battery. If it works move unto relay if it doesn't you've found the culprit.
Next check relay in the fuse box. Coolant tempertant switch(CTS) aka thermal switch and its circuit. CTS is usually located in the water jacket by the t-stat.
