Suing a volt meter check to see what the charging voltage is at the battery with the engine running. If you see more than 14 volts than the alternator is working. If you see less than 13 and most likely you will see 12, the alternator is not working. Next shut off the engine and make sure there is 12 volts on the large cable/terminal on the back of the alternator. If there is replace the alternator.
This is the antitheft system shutting off the injectors , The ignition reads the key, and if it misinterprets the signal from the key, it will say UNKNOWN driver and turn off the injectors. Basically the truck thinks it's being stolen so it shuts down. It's actually SUPER common on GM vehicles. Here is a link about it.

When the blower is not working open the hood. Locate the blower on the passenger side near the firewall. Most likely it is covered with a thin rubber piece but it may not be. Turn the key to the run position. The engine does not need to be running. Turn the blower speed switch to high. Tap the blower with the handle end of a large screw driver. If the blower starts to work replace it.
