I was on here the other day asking about this electric shift motor but that was before I discovered what it's doing now. I don't want to, tear it off and get into it if I don't have too, I am a disabled veteran and it's really hard for me but I can't afford a mechanic. Any ideas on how I can narrow it down?

there is an actuator on the back of the transfer case that likes to fail odds are this is where your problem is. check power and ground here and if you have both replace the actuator

WOW that is strange. Get your self a test light or a cheap multimeter. Take the + wire off at the wiper motor and check if you have voltage / power. If you do then the problem is with the wiper motor if you don't it is the wiring or the switch. I know, not a complete solution but it cuts your problem in half :)
Good Luck

You may have a bad idle control valve. If you want to replace fuel pump yourself you will have to remove bed of truck or fuel tank.

go to auto zone to pull transfer case code for no charge to costly to guess
