When driving the car acts like it was put in neutral shut the car off and restart then the car will drive again for a few miles and does it all over again
The transmission filter is possible plugging up. When the car is off the fluid flows backwards through the filter into the transmission pan. Once the car is started, the fluid goes through the filter, if there is a lot of debris in the pan it will suck it up into the filter. then once the filter plugs up the fluid cant get to the clutches inside the transmission. thus it feels like neutral. similar to as if there was no fluid in the transmission. Replace the transmission filter.
