Better check to see if the nuts are still tight on your fan.

SOURCE: can't find the oil cap

the oil filler cap should be on the valve covers. the valve covers are located on the top of the motor they are long steel or aluminum covers on each side of the engine.

For 1965-1982 Corvettes
rally wheels (steel) are 75ft/lbs.
optional wheels (alumiminum) 80ft/lbs. retorque every 100 miles

I would check with Covette Central, they've been around for over 40 years. Probably not a question about Corvettes that they haven't answered a bunch of times, and they have about any Corvette part ever made.

Where are the fuses on a 75 corvtte stingray...I want to check the fuses for the radio, and lighter, which have quit working

Hi... The fuses in the Corvette 72. Are located on left kick pannel Inside of the Vehicle. Left corner at the end you will see a small box with Glass type fuses

Hello John, have you checked the manual headlight over-ride switch. This may be the source of your problem. Make sure it is pushed all the way in. It is located under the dash near the steering column.
