My 2008 hummer h3 got C0136 Base brake system pressure circuit error on DTC and displays waning Traction off, Service stab sys. Whats the exact problem and any part to be replaced?

DTC C0136: Base Brake System Pressure Circuit
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) monitors an internal input from the master cylinder pressure sensor to enhance antilock brake system (ABS) braking and vehicle stability if equipped.

Conditions for Setting the DTC
• When vehicle speed is more than 7 km/h (4 mph), the master cylinder pressure does not change for 30 seconds with the brake applied.
• When vehicle speed is more than 10 km/h (6 mph), the master cylinder pressure signal is erratic.
• Master cylinder pressure signal is out of range.
• Master cylinder pressure is high for 5 seconds with the stop lamp switch signal OFF.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
• The EBCM disables traction control system (TCS) and vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) for the duration of the ignition cycle.
• A DIC message and/or a warning indicator may be displayed.

Diagnostic Aids
The master cylinder pressure sensor is located internally in the Master Cylinder and is not serviceable.

Circuit/System Verification
Important: It is recommend that the defective components be replaced, and not the complete brake master cylinder assembly.
Verify that DTCs C0131, P0719, P0724 are not set.
? If any of the DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle.
Replace the EBCM.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
Control Module References for EBCM and BPMV replacement, setup, and programming

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

Start with checking the brake fluid level in the master cylinder. If you're still having an issue it will need to be diagnosed with a scan tool.

I have a 2008 equinox. after driving 20 mins in stop and go traffic, brake pedal becomes hard and can't move the car. Replaced master cyclinder, brake booster and brake pedal sensor. Help

Check the flexible brake lines on the front two wheels. The rubber inside can become swollen which will restrict the release of pressure when you let off the brakes. After a few brake applications, enough pressure will build up to keep the brakes applies to the front two wheels. It will also severely wear the front pads .

2002 chevy trailblazer front brakes activating while driving

check the clearance of the brake pedal rod into the master cylinder. Should be about 1" movement before the rod moves the piston .
The master cylinder has a blockage in the compensating ports so replace the master cylinder. As the brake oil is heating from brake application, it is not getting back to the reservoir so it is pressing the pads back onto the rotors which is heating the oil even more.

"!" Indicator light on 2008 Chev Trailblazer

If the ! symbol you saw is inside a circle enclosed in parentheses like (O), and usually red in color, that's for your brake fluid. Check it out, maybe its low on fluid. If it is, check for fluid leaks or worn brakepads. Usually the ! symbol coincides with the P symbol and also red in color. When the park brake is engaged, both these symbols appear together. If you release the park brake, both indicators should turn off under normal conditions, otherwise either of the two or both will stay on when there is insufficient fluid or there's a parking brake circuit fault. Brakes are very important, so give proper attention and solution if ever these indicators lightb up when they shoud not.
If the ! symbol is very bold and inside a half drawn flat tire, and yellow in color, thats the tire pressure monitor indicator. Check and balance all four tire pressures to the correct specification.
Okay, sir? have a safe trip. : )

Exclamation point warning light came on...what

A yellow explanation point symbol on the dashboard typically applies to the Tire Pressure Monitoring system. A thick ! inside a half drawn flat tire symbol to be complete and comes in yellow color when lit. Under normal vehicle set-up, if this indicator stays lit after the power-on selftest, you need to check your tires for any uneven pressures and adjust their pressures to correct specifications. Okay? : )

A red exclamation point inside a circle when lit indicates your parking brake is on, or your brake fluid level is low.
