Hydralic clutch, never slipped prior until one day went to shift, clutch pedal never came back up, it just went to the floor and stayed. I was able to pull it up by hand, but it just falls back to the floor.
See if this link helps you find out why.

SOURCE: Clutch pedal goes to the floor, then after pulling it up there is pressure...
There is either air in the system or a leak in the clutch slave cylinder. Check your fluid make sure it is full and the cap is tight.

You are going to have to replace the master and slave cylinders for the hydraulic clutch, the seals have failed in the slave, but from past experience they should always been replaced as a pair.

Check for fluid leaks first along the line. Also check the mechanical linkage. Then try bleeding it. Changing the master cylinder is your last resort. That way you dont buy parts you don't need.

You have to replace the Slave Cyl. when you put on the new one you have to bleed it ..To get the air out of the new line.

your clutch uses a hydraulic master and slave cylinder to disengage. It is likely that the slave has been leaking and the reservoir gone dry, thus allowing air into the system and reducing effectiveness. Check the clutch master cylinder reservoir (near the brake reservoir) fluid level. If low, also check the slave cylinder at the clutch for leakage. If leaking, replace the slave and bleed the system.
