under the radiator on the passenger side of the truck. There is a little splash guard you will need to remove to see it, The guard is held in with 4 15mm headed bolts, then you will be able to see the bottom of the air pump.

SOURCE: where is secondary air pump located

Its on the drivers side under the headlight. Remove one cover underneath the car in front of the Drivers side tire. Easy fix,took 1 hour to remove and replace

SOURCE: on a 2001 chevy s1o blazer,4.3 engine, what is the secondary air injection system, what does it do, and where is it located

it injects air into the exhaust to reduce emissions, burn off carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons. it is a system of tubes and pump, best bet is diagrams, which i cant post here, so suggest chilton or hayes repair manual $30 at auto stores with trouble shooting, diagrams, and directions.

If you follow the hose from the pump it should go to a valve and tube that connects to the exhaust.
Depending on the trouble code, you may need the check valve on the end of that tube.

Code 410 for a GM product is a problem with the secondary air injection system.
There is a pump that puts air into the exhaust to lower emissions.

2001 ZR-2 BLAZER HAS 4.3 V6 KEEPS GIVING P 0410 trouble code = secondary air injection system. What is this fault code saying and what is the fix?

your vehicle has an air pump that puts air in to the exhaust cooling it to reduce nox gasses most likely the pump has sucked up water shorting it out and blowing the fuse. there is an updated pump inlet and pump to fix this problem also need to replace the fuse after replacing pump.

Secondary air injection is a pump under the front of your vehilce on the passenger side up behind the bumper can be accessed from the under side by removing the front cover,most times I have seen pipes coming off and filling with water.
