Is the check engine light on? Does the speedo work? Probaly is either a bad output speed sensor on the trans tail hosing or a bad govenor pressure solenoid and /or pressure sensor on the valve body. Need to have it scanned. Output rpms should be zero at a stop and increase with road speed . Govenor pressure should be within 3 psi of desired govenor pressure . Desired govenor pressure should match road road speed.I would recomend replace the sensor and solenoid as a pair. Please vote and good luck!

Governor Pressure Sensor Offset Volts Too High/Low Conditions: Key on
or engine running. Gear selector in Park or Neutral. PCM detected an
out-of-range Governor Pressure Sensor signal for 1.3 seconds. The fault
must occur 3 times on one trip to set a code. Possible Causes: Governor
pressure Sensor VREF (5v) circuit is open Governor pressure Sensor
ground circuit is open P/N switch is damaged or has failed (not
operating properly) Transmission fluid has excessive debris or it is
contaminated PCM has failed
To remove the govenor pressure sensor you have to drop the pan, remove the filter, take the torx screw out of the bracket that holds the sensor unplug the sensor and wiggle it while pulling back on it.
Your Kick down cable is either on too short or come off completely. Check that first before you spend any money on anything else or transmission overhaul
It's a transmission related problem, that you should have looked at a.s.a.p. to avoid costly transmission repairs down the road. Have it scanned at a reputable transmission repair place, dealer, or mechanic you trust. The drain pan will have to come off to perform repair, so have a transmission service (filter & fluid) done while your at it, unless it was done recently.
