SOURCE: 1996 accord lx 4cyl at. Code is transmission input
Stand on passenger side of vehicle with hood up, look down kind of behind the throttle body but still close to the side of the car. It should be sitting on top of the tranny with a connnector with 2 or 3 wires coming out of it. It also has a little straight gear in it that spins with the tranny, make sure and dont drop this out or it wont work.

As for obtaining the dipstick. You might try Napa. If not Napa, then a Ford Dealer. I doubt the dip stick is the end of your troubles here, though.
SOURCE: i cannot find the transmission speed
your looking for the turbine speed sensor a.k.a transmission speed sensor and not the vechile spees sensor correct? they are two different sensors! the transmission speed sensor is on the side of the transmission facing the side of the car around 11 o'clock in relation to the output shaft witch is where the cv axle goes in! if it is the vechile speed sensonr then it is on top of the transmission tail house for the other output shaft and the other cv goes too. if you follow the transmisssion dip stick down to the transmission it is in that area! good luck
SOURCE: i need help finding where the transmission speed
its located on the tranny directly below the intake manifold. i think its about $35 or $40 to get one at a parts store.it sticks out at about a 45 degree angle pointed towards the drivers seat. you may have to get on top of the car and reach your arms down until you find it. theres only one bolt holding it on if i remember correctly. 10mm? i think. if you take it off, its not gonna be fun trying to figure out where the bolt goes back without being able to see. hope this helps.
ford does have their own type you can get it at any parts store just tell them what it's for also at Ford
