When confronted with a P0442, many techs impulsively replace the cap, as it has been found to be responsible for a fair number of large-leak evap DTCs. Caps that are incorrectly installed following a fill-up also contribute to this problem. But as you know, vehicles with enhanced evaporative emissions systems, are very sensitive and will detect leaks that are much smaller than those resulting from a defective or loose cap. In fact, leaks as small as .040 in. can be detected.

The only other thing that is the turn signal handle. This is the switch. It can be removed by making sure it is in the off position and pull straight out.Depending on which kind of handle it is.The wire connector is either right by the area where you pull it out or under the dash.Just follow the wire.Hope this helps.Good luck.

There are a few things to check: First, check the fuel filter to see if it's clogged. Next, clean out the air filter. Next, look and see if the spark plugs have fouled, or are bad. Spray in some injector cleaner, and maybe some SeaFoam if you believe in it (I do, heavier based oil should push it out, if not all that powerful as it claims). Check the timing, and check the valve timing. You might even do a vacuum check on the intake. Failing that, it's time for help with the computer, or it may be a worn out motor.
