SOURCE: NO POWER TO FRONT AUXILIARY

Look for a loose or open cable,probably has a open fuse link cable,this ones are fuses but in cables,the color and the consistency is diferent from the other cables,orange is the most common.

SOURCE: Auxiliary power outlet won't work. Fuse is good.

If all wires, harnessesand ground connectiosn are good, defective outlet.

SOURCE: Both power outlets in my 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix do not work. HELP

Unless you can use a volt meter at some skill level
& better yet follow the wires & even have a wiring diagram

Then you need help
Not from the internet,we don't have the
car to test things

A handy friend or a repair shop

If you have warm air on one side and cool on the other, you've a situation with the vent flaps. But to backflush the core, take both hoses off the core and run a garden hose to the outlet side going towards the water pump. This will flush it.

Cant find fuse for the auxillary power plug

the front auxiliary outlet is fed by the c/ltr fuse (the same fuse for the cigarette lighter. The rear auxiliary outlet is fed by the aux power fuse in the under hood fuse block. You can use a test light to quickly check for blown fuses. Sometimes you can use a flashlight and just look at them while there in the fuse block to see if they are blown or not.

Where is the thermostat located on a pontiac grand am 2004 v6 3400

3.4L Engine

  1. Drain the cooling system.
  2. Remove the air cleaner.
  3. Remove exhaust crossover pipe.
  4. Disconnect the surge tank line fitting from the coolant outlet.
  5. Remove the thermostat housing to intake manifold bolts.
  6. Remove the thermostat housing outlet and thermostat
  7. Clean the mating surfaces.

To install:
  1. Install the thermostat and housing outlet.
  2. Install the thermostat housing bolts. Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  3. Install exhaust crossover pipe.
  4. Connect the surge tank line fitting to the coolant outlet. Tighten the fittings to 15 ft. lbs. (21 Nm).
  5. Install the air cleaner.
  6. Fill the cooling system.
  7. Inspect the system for leaks.
