SOURCE: engine diagram 1997 jeep wrangler SE

So how do you know you need one if you dont know where it is?? Oil pumps rarely go bad unless the engine is sludged from lack of maintenence. After you take the oil pan off, its there hanging down. Make sure you clean or replace the pick up tube. I'm sure you can google up torque specs, for the bolts. Usually there is major engine damage by the time you figure out that there is lack of oil pressure. I would get a professionals opinion before you waste time and money replaicing the oil pump. If the engine has any unusual noise or knocking, its too late.

SOURCE: where is the fuel filter on the 2006 jeep

Your Wrangler does not have an in-line filter. The only fuel system filter is inside the fuel tank on the inlet side of the fuel pump. This filter is not usually serviced.

Were is the fuel filter located on a 2005 jeep wrangler SE 2.4L

There is no external inline fuel filter, no manufacturer uses them anymore. There is a nylon fine mesh screen on the inlet to the electric fuel pump, it never needs to be serviced unless the fuel pump is being replaced. Most often even then you just wash it out in Stoddard solvent

What might cause a 1995 4 cylinder jeep wrangler to backfire and attempt to stall at low rpms?

map sensor would be a likely cause. check all service items first(air filter, fuel filter, etc.).

2000 jeep wrangler - starts and then will die while driving. Battery replaced, starter replaced, alternator checks out okay. Could it be the solenoid?

The solenoid causes the starter to engage when the ignition switch is turned to start. If the car starts, the solenoid is probably okay.

Sounds more like a fuel delivery problem.

Where is the 1998 Pontiac Sunfire SE fuel filter?

Dear Oilzum, The fuel filter on most cars of that era are back by the fuel tank(where supply line comes out of tank), and usually on the inside of the frame. Find the fuel line from the tank towards the engine and you will find the fuel filter. Most are around 6 inches long and 3 inches around. Call me back if you need more help. quicbric(volvo man)
