How to remove gas pump out of 2007 Ford Expedition

This seldom works, and the reason is because the radio system and steering wheel controls are monitored and operated by the Body Control Module on the 5 volt Can Bus System. When you connect your new Android box, the computer won't have a clue what is going on! Be prepared for a whole heap of trouble.

Fill it with Good gas and fuel stabilizer to dilute the bad gas.

Or disconnect the pipe from the fuel tank and use the pump to pump the gas out. Make sure you stop as soon as flow stops because the fuel in the tank lubricates and cools the pump.

Or you can syphon it out with a length of 1/2" plastic tube.

there is a rubber hose that runs from you fuel port to the gas tank thats probably cracked simple fix

This sounds like a bad fuel pump , this is very common. you will need to drop gas tank to install new pump.

check in the throat of the filler neck and see if the overflow tube is blocked small hole in the neck that allows overflow of gas to bleed down like the way your bathtub works when it gets to full check the passage if its clear or the hose from the neck to the tank

Pull back the carpet in the cargo area, there might be a panel you can remove to get to the pump. If there's not a panel, you'll have to take down the fuel tank. Hope it's empty. Did you make sure you didn't just run out of gas? Does the pump whine when you turn on the key? if it does, the pump is good.

It could be. But it's only three years old. Have you checked all fuses?
1) If you can remove a fuel line in the engine bay (maybe injector) place in fuel safe container and turn key to "on" fuel should come out pretty fast.
2) Check near crankshaft, there is a position sensor on most cars. If not connected it will not start.
There are 101 other things that can keep it from starting.

One way to prove your fuel pump theory is to put a little fuel
in the intake manifold before in enters the engine (may to loosen a hose) If it will run for a few seconds then you are right, sort of, no fuel getting to engine. That does NOT mean it is the fuel pump. It just means it is fuel delivery problem.

This sounds like the gas tank vent pipe is obstructed.

Sounds like you might have a breather hose that is pinched.
