As part of the security system is embedded in the engine management ECU (ECM) the ECU has to recognise the code sent from the immobiliser before it will switch on and perform its functions.
Sometimes when ordering a replacement ECU using the vin from the dealer it will arrive programmed with the correct code but this is unlikely with aftermarket replacements and consequently reprogramming of the system will be required.
With new battery and starter that engine should spin nicely. U might want to experiment by removing all the spark plugs and then crank and check for cran speed. Should turn like crazy. If not, then something inside is definitely binding up.
Did you have any incidents of overheating recently? If so, that could have caused permanent damage to engine block.
Look towards: Fault in the fuel injector sysytem; Battery termional connections corroded or loose; excessive moisture on the ignition components; fuel pump faulty/ fuel filter clogged/ bad fuel in tank; worn faulty or incorrectly gappped spark plugs; broken, loose or disconnected wires at the distributor/ ignition coil pack.. Please provide feedback Best regards Ck
verify that you have a fully charge battery and that you have the same amount of voltage at the battery as at the starter when the key is turned to the start position. If not repair fault at positive cable either at battery or at starter. If voltage checks good. Use a remote starter and turn key to the on position and try to crank over engine with remote starter. if engine cranks over. You have a defective starter solenoid and starter must be replaced.
