2006 has D4CB 2.5 Diesel engine. It has a timing Chain. 3 of them. A, B, and C.

Those KIA are dropping like flys on here,
the last week or so

The repair shop should have bulletins in their
data base & experience with that

It depends on the engine size. The 2.5 diesel is chain and the larger petrol engine is belt.
