There is no way to override the security system that I know of.You probably have a bad ignition cylinder.This is the part that the key goes into.Unless you know the resistance of that key and then you need to get a resistor of that resistance and put it in the wiring from the ignition cylinder on the wire that goes to the pcm.This will enable the pcm to allow fuel to the engine.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Why I was asking is this engine uses 2 coolant sensors the one for the computer to operate fans and adjust fuel delivery is a 3 wire sensor on the intake outlet area and the one for the temp gauge should be on the head and a 2wire sensor.IT has been awhile since I worked on a 3.1L I think this info is correct.
