SOURCE: Broken rear slideing glass window on a dodge dakota 2001.

on this truck the rear window is glued in with urethane, if I was cutting it out I would use a special power tool designed to do this. I am sorry but this will not be easy with out it, the only thing I could see is you bending and cut the frame off with a scraper and hammer. (bad picture in my mind) might be worth a stop at an auto glass shop and ask them to remove.

SOURCE: how do you remove the rear glass on a 1997 dodge

You can start by pulling the interior back by the rear window. There are two tabs on both ends on the bottom frame, you can bend them straight.Try to pull the bottom of the window out and watch out for the hinges to carefully lift up the window itself.

SOURCE: Remove headlight assembly from a 2001 Dodge Ram

On the upper grill side of the headlight assy. there
should be 1 or 2 push pins that hold the seal on the
headlight assy to the front of the fender. Also check
for a guide/push pin on the inner top of the assy on
the outer fender side. That should be all there is to
hold the headlight in place. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: How to remove and replace

These are generally not for the do it yourselfer since they are spot welded in place and there are many sizes of panels to fit the area you need to replace. Have an auto body shop look at it for advice - many give free estimates.

jack the rear of the truck up put jack stands or wooden blocks under the rear axle crawl under the truck you will find 4 bolts at the rear universal joint where it attaches to the rear end remove these 4 bolts and metal clips mark location of drive shaft in relation with where it bolts on the pinion flange use a sharpee or tape, now gentley pry the universal joint forward and lower rear of shaft , now wrap tape around the bearing caps so they don"t fall off this done pull the shaft out of the rear of transmission, one thing if your truck has 2 piece drive shaft you will have to unbolt the center hanger bearing too that requires 2 bolts that screw into the cross member to come out

How do I install new quarter glass on a Dodge Dakota? I got the glass plus trim from a salvage yard, but can't see how to access the bolts on the inside of the truck. Looks like I need to remove interior...

Yes, my 2003 dodge durango required a phillips screw driver, and a large (#45 or 50?) torx for the seatbelt connection. other than that I was able to remove the snap in panels and head liner with my hands. some of them unsnap at the top, and then slide them up to disengage the tabs. just use good judgment. the glass is held in with ten, 10mm nuts. the glass will be stuck with butyl caulk, but careful use of a putty knife should get it loose. be very careful not to cut your hands on broken glass ! use gloves ! clean the old butyl from the pinch weld with a plastic putty knife.
