Could be the fuel filter. Watch the speed it happens. IE.. Ok at 50 MPH, hit 60 MPH it starts jerking. Clogged filers will give the pressure need, just not the volume of fuel need at higher speeds.

I changed filter bout 3 months back. But seem like a miss. My alternator is running hoter than my engine. Almost burned hole in my hose why is it that hot

97 is an OBD11 code reader. Have the codes read.

REPLACE alternator ASAP to much voltage will fry your computer. Also check out air filter for miss then go to spark plug wires and then plugs. THEN start thinking about fuel pump issues.

SOURCE: 2007 jeep wrangler shakes uncontrollaby after

When you say shakes i am guessing the steering wheel. If it is the steering wheel shaking, it's know as the death wobble. Check the front steering components, look for worn or broken parts. Most common for death wobble are the tie rod ends, idler arm and pitmen arm. look for play along the track bars and check the ball joints. The other thing too that will cause a death wobble is a bad alignment. there may be negative or no caster at all which would give you a death wobble. Check all of the above and keep me posted. Good luck and be safe

SOURCE: Have a 98 gmc sonoma. Clutch does not have much

either its time for a clutch job or you have a hydrolic slave cylinder issue. the fluid could be real low, you could have air in the system.

1994 4Runner-why does front Rgt tire wobble@50-70KL or wobble @thos speed when hitting a little bump or big bump&will not let me go past 70KL without starting to wobble??

Not Tie Rods, probably Upper and lower Ball joints OR look at the stabilizer bar if your truck has one, check for worn bushings on that.

When you hit the accelerator on my 97 caviler it make a noise nd the jerks a little. whats wrong with it

it would seem you need to tune your car up.
I suggest spark plugs , wires and a cap/rotor kit , along with a new fuel and air filter.

I had the same problem on a 97 gmc surburban. I replaced the bulbs and would work until I hit a bump. I then replaced the panel and no more problems. Hope this helps.
