You probably will need a shop to look at and test the charging system. It could be as simple as a loose connection, or something more serious. The newer systems often have the computer, the ecu, controlling the alternator and how much it charges. So it's no longer just either the battery or the alternator being at fault. It depends on the manufacturer and how the system is designed.
I don't know about Kia, but any repair shop could find the information.
fuel pressure regulators are normally located in the fuel manifold. They are either vacuum controlled or electronic controlled to maintain the right fuel pressure for engine requirements and to shut off the fuel pump when the ignition is turned off
If your manually adjusted unit will not do all that then you are asking for fault codes to appear and all sorts of problems to occur
It's a fault code connected with the intake manifold.
However, before you rush off and change it, have a look on the Internet. It seems that Kia had problems with this particular error code/or the software. Read about it first. Here's some links:
Most likely you will have to have it pounded out and replaced with a new wheel stud. These are vehicle specific and are sold at auto parts stores. If you can take a lug nut with you.
First off have the battery tested, just because it has enough juice to light the dash and the radio doesn't mean it has the 100 amps needed to run the engine starter motor. Autozone and others do battery testing for free.
Could be couple of things,
A bad battery not holding a charge, should be a little over 12 volts with engine off.
A bad alternator not charging, should put out between 14 to 15 volts with engine running.
If there is an advanced auto near you, take them there, they will check them for free.
