2000 ford explorer fuse panel, what fuses and amps are used for each fuse
I lost the interior fuse panel cover. I'm not sure if the correct fuse amps are in there and I can't find the fuse that works for the cigarette lighter and powerpoint

The interior fuse panel is on the left (driver's) end of the dashboard. Open the driver's side door and look at the end of the dash, you will see a removable panel...behind that panel is the fuse panel.
you can look on google to try and find a fuse diagram or start pulling fuses one by one until the light goes out...you're not going to hurt anything by doing that.
Main fuse panel, Interior front, passenger side, kick panel, pull that off, to get the fuse cover off pull from bottom. Cover has numbers but no names for fuse locations. MANY items are clumped together, (radio antenna, with rear wiper motor, sunroof) etc.
Go to this web site and on left task bar pick owner guide.Input your vehicle information then pick owners manual. Go to page 193 and it will give you a pic of the interior fuse panel with the fuses numbered. On page 194,195, and top of 196 it will give you the fuse numbers and amp ratings. For the battery junction box under the hood it will start on page 197.
