Pull out the spark plugs their is probably oil or water in the well surrounding plugs. Cheap eaasy fix for water just dry it out. oil? Replace valve cover gasket .

I UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE ROUNDABOUT PART (TRAFFIC CIRCLE) BUT DOES THIS HAPPEN ONLY THEN OR IS IT HAPPENING ON REGULAR TURNS OR JUST WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS THEN PRESS DOWN AGAIN ON THE PEDDLE YOU WILL GET THE HESITATION SOMETIMES NOT ALL THE TIME AND DO YOU FEEL LIKE THE GAS PEDDLE STICKS A LITTLE BIT WHEN YOU APPLY PRESSURE ON IT FROM A DEAD STOP( FOOT OFF GAS WHETHER WHILE CRUISING OR AT A TRAFFIC SIGNAL ) YOU FEEL LIKE THE PEDDLE BINDS JUST A BIT THEN TRAVELS FREE IF SO THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR IS EITHER NOT PROPERLY SET(IF ALWAYS WAS LIKE THIS FROM THE DAY YOU OWNED IT BRAND NEW CAR/NOT USED AND IT'S UNDER USED CAR WARRANTY)IT COULD HAVE BEEN CHANGED ALREADY AND HAS NOT BEEN DONE THE RIGHT WAY, OR IT'S WORN AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED THE WEAR OVER A FEW YEARS IS CAUSING THE NYLON BUSHING INSIDE TO CATCH SLIGHTLY AND THIS CAN ONLY BE FIXED BY HAVING IT CHANGED ALL TOGETHER /ANOTHER THING IT COULD BE IF WHAT I DESCRIBED HERE IN THIS THREAD IS WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING THE SCREW ON THE THROTTLE BODY PLATE THAT THE THROTTLE LEVER RESTS AGAINST HAS BEEN TURNED BACK A LITTLE BIT TRYING TO MAKE THE CAR IDLE SLOWER FOR LESS GAS CONSUMPTION PEOPLE TRY EVERYTHING NOT REALIZING THE OUT COME AFFECTS SOMETHING ELSE ANYWAY THIS IS ONLY IF WHAT I AM DESCRIBING HERE IS WHAT ACTUALLY IS HAPPENING IF NOT PLEASE POST BACK WITH A LITTLE MORE INFO SPECIFICALLY STATING ALL TIMES THIS HAPPENS AND ALSO UNDERSTAND I'M NOT AT THE CAR SO I COULD SEE FOR MYSELF AND OTHER CONDITIONS THAT MAYBE THERE I CAN'T CHECK SO YOU ARE THE EYE'S AND EARS FOR ME TO TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT AND IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETIMES WHAT I AM ASKING YOU TO DO ASK AGAIN FOR ME TO BE MORE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT IT IS I'M SAYING O.K. A lot of the newer Volvo and Ford cars have Electronic Accelerator / throttle pedals fitted which play up when worn.

Many complete Accelerator pedals are compatible with the Ford Focus cars in the UK.

IAC valve may need to be cleaned but it would not idle corectly if so . look for holes in tube going to throttle body . also have you replaced wires and spark plugs ?

if your alternator is garbage then turning your headlights on and running your car will drain that ****** till its dead. but before you do that. just make sure there isnt build up on the terminals of your battery that may be causing a very poor connection. as for the throttle body sensor. it may or may not be related. i doubt the two problems are.

Check engine light? Have you checked fuel pressure?

It's possible it's your fuel pump getting ready to fail. There was a recall a number of years back on the fuel pump, which your local Ford dealer should replace for free.
