Im thinking your going to be ok as far as warranty repair,if your dealers service dept is insensitive, call Saturn assist @ 1.800.553.6000 On to the ignition switch ....separate colum halves with #2 screwdriver> access ignition housing and look for trip slot on top side of cylinder>use pocket size screwdriver to trip button in slot while in ACC position and pull out...good luck

Thank you both for your quick reply and suggestions. I'm not even sure how to get the car started to take it to Saturn. The key won't go back in the ignition, so maybe the graphite suggestion would work for that?
Either way, I am going to call Saturn tomorrow and if they give me a problem .. the 1-800 number. I didn't even mention how little I drove my car. The warranty may be up, but there is only 23,000 miles on my car.
before you pull the lock cylinder go to a hardware store nd buy a tube of dry graphite powder lock lube.
