Why not read the manual, how to remove a COP
its there, and Ive posted it here 300+ times.
ever like search ?
no engines stated, by you.
my WK has the 3.7:
get access to it, if has cutes-i-pie covers
see that bank of 3 coils,. even and odd sides.
5 be odd side, same side as #1
the cops have wire plug, un plug it.
then remove the clamp down screws. logical no?
then it twists out. (some are very hard, and take special skills and shop air to remove. ask)
ok its out.
why not youtube this , all cops come out same way.
and same issues if hard to get out.
#1 is the most forward cylinder. look and see that on all V6 and V8
301 times again the WK book , read the chapter on Ignition.

i guess you have scan code, P0305,
a word to wise i can be many things on #5 not just spark
po305 means weak combustion #5, that is what it means.
spark, fuel, or compression... 1,2,3.
Do you know which cylinder is # 5? You will probably have to remove engine cover to see anything. If coil on plug ignition, one coil for each spark plug. on the spark plug coil in question, remove electrical connector from coil, remove hold down bolt from coil, you may have to twist coil to get boot loose from spark plug.
What is liter size of engine?
This is for 4.7 L engine. It appears jeep rwd has odd and even banks like GM and Chrysler. 1357 for driver side bank. 2468 from front to back on passenger side bank.
