"95 buick lesabre , drive it slow it\'s fine drive over 1800 rpm and at around 1900rpm itstarts to buck like choke out if gets past 2000, 2100 smooth\'s out , but also will surge / at stop light go to step on it and will surge or will take it\'s time to reach speed or surge & kick in.It has choked out to where had to wait to re start ran for while like nothing happened now start to do it again more so / new tank & fuel pump installed. By prof all work done by prof.a heck of a lot of work done by prof. " Had Mechanic's hook computer onto it / they say computer not showing code as of yet as system to main brain of car computer has not fully diagnose problem itself yet? Note to one answer / car running at 1600 rpm should not surge to 3500 rpm when running at 1600 rpm it should stay within means of 1600 or within rage of that area unless accelerated. note to second answer car does not run smoothat all speeds "please read" At 1900 RPM Car begins to buck & choke out until reaching 2100 rpm then smooths out . which at that point if in higher rpm say like 3500 runnin rpm will surge to 4500 / 5000 without acceleration/// Understanding to the warming up of engine this has nothing to do with warming up // this has to do with running car driving!// Been told by Prof mech. Would be Coil packs if only Check Engine light came on which the brain would of been informed. & No check Engine light on.
Need to take to a shop with a GM tech 2 or higher scan tool. These tools can actually display various sensor readings and voltages in real time and can be used while driving the car to recreate the issue. These are super expensive scan tools so most shops don't have them. Call around or bite the bullet and have a dealer do it. The money you spend on a correct diagnosis will be saved by not throwing random parts at it based on guess work.
