How do I fix ignition coil on 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE 1.8L I got a Coil Dia Code indicating Coil 2 was bad.

Need help....I have Code indicating Coil #2 is bad. Replaced Coil #2 and its not fixing the Rough Running, Sputtering problems and the Engine Light is blinking sporadically. What else should I do??? I did test the other coils and interchange them but it didn;t affect running rough issue.

    what code did you have?
Did you check the spark plugs?
Are the coils capable of making spark?

Check the Mass Air Flow Sensor, it's probably going to be the problem. I have a 2000 Sentra gxe 1.8l that I had the same problem with, engine would run really rough and usually die if you let it. The sensor is in the snorkel between the air filter and the carb or whatever that year has.

Not sure if the crank sensor or the cam sensor sets your spark have similar issue on a Traverse it's the cam sensor on that unplug the cam sensor and try and crank it if it doesn't crank it controls the spark if it seems to get worse as it warms up that more than likely is the Fault

Do a compression test on # 2 cylinder . Not a MAF sensor , would affect just 1 cylinder . Engine mechanical problem ,maybe . Take it to a qualified repair shop , rather then guessing .

You have wires touching where they should not be touching. If you replace ECM and Coil it will just come back with the same problem, who every you take this for repair they need to recognize this as a shorted wire harness and see it as one unit, not just read a code. This is tied as one , have them open the wire harness to the affected coil not all the way just enough to see if it shorted out, My suggestion is to check and make sure the conection to the coil is not loose and all connection for coil is not loose,

No spark on 2002 sentra se-r replaced crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor.

heres a list, ignition components damp or damaged, worn or faulty spark plugs, broken...loose....or disconnectedwiring in starting circuit, loose distributor changing ignition timing, ignition coil loose...faulty or disconnected wires. its good your cam & crank sensors were changed, but no spark indicates coil packs not able to get spark to plugs, but spark plugs may be fouled, replace them. replace distributor cap & rotor. check fuses, there's one for the ignition switch, check it. try all this see how it does,, also, if you haven't replaced both the AIR & FUEL FILTERS , DO SO !!!!!!!! just for thought, my daughter has a sentra gxe,2002, it started losing power on the highway, we had to have nissan replace it, $900 , you may have to deal with this, sell the car ! when you get it running, if you want. although , after we did repairs, tune-up, timing belt (not chain), etc., it runs like a top, she loves it ! good car if you ask me, just keep filters new, brakes good, it will go forever !

call nissan give them the vin number thers a recall on the cam and crank sensors do that first
if the recall has been done and ther are no sensor codes find the missing cyl.move the coils around to see if the mis follows if not check batt volts green/white wire good ground at the black/yellow wire after that you need a lab scope to look at the wave pattern of each coil.ther should be 2-4 volt sawtooth pattern all the coils should look abought the same.

I'm getting trouble code p01320 on 2000 nissan

p1320 is a ignition primary signal code. you may need ignition coils. not a common issue on a 2000 sentra, but depending on milage you may need coils. unfortunatelly you dont have a specific cylinder number code stored such as p0301 which is number 1 cylinder misfire and so on in your case p0301 to p0304 because its a 4 cylinder vehicle. with the p1320 its usually the whole set of 4 coils.
