For a 24 volt system connect a wire from the negative of one battery to the positive of the other battery. Then connect the load to negative of one battery and the positive or the other battery. this is known as "series"

for a 12 volt system connect all the positive terminals together and all the negative together. This is known as parallel.

Sequence in battery terminal wire removal and replacing (changing out battery)

always remove the ground wire first when removing. The ground wire is last when installing.

Ive recently bought a new regulator for the dynamo type beetle and ive just burned it out! can anybody help me figure out the wiring sequence for it thanks!

Sometimes there will be letters on the regulator or on the wiring plug gr for green r for red bl for black etc. otherwise I would recommend a Haynes repair manual for $20.00 it contains wiring schematics that will help with this problem.

Where is the inline fuse for the alternator on a 2002 ford explor

I see two or three,the schematic shows two in series coming of the wire from the battery junction box to the back of the alternator and a third coming off the second wire,it's a tough call because schematics even factory schematics aren't always right but either way follow the wiring from the back of the alternator,and you should find them.
