Went to job site and jeep would not turn over so had it towed home. replaced fuel pump, then found that now i have fuel, i have no spark. replaced crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor and tpi, to no avail, still no spark, motor turns over and over but will not ignite. please advise, thanks for any help you can give me on this
Your Jeep ecu probably needs to be repaired. It is suffering from what is called the delayed start, NO check engine light ecu problem. If you have no check engine light on the dash, with the ignition turned on, the ecu is bad. The ecu will not send power to the fuel pump relay so the jeep cannot start and also the ecu will not communicate through obdII until that check engine light comes on, when the ecu finally powers up. ECUs usually starts acting up when the temperature is changing, Fall and Spring, but eventually it will start if you leave the ignition key turned on, for like 20 minutes. A good working ecu charges up and powers everything the instant you turn the ignition on. Have it repaired.....a few different ECU repair services are offered on Ebay.
Is this a USA jeep or export? (immo differences)
we do not know what turn over means.
in this case you meant engine cranks fast and will not start.
Changing out the CKP was a bad idle.
1 of 4 , engine, 4L (veries but unstated trans)
must be calibrated or its wrecked at the first turn of CRAnking
.
So be ready for 2 causes of dead spark is that fun ,no.
this is what you did wrong, if compression is ok.
1: check all fuse first. we test all ones that look ok. see?
2: then we scan it cranking, or all this is hopeless, see why?
it will tell you why there is no spark, but you skipped step 2.
3: not only that but you didnt check the ASD relay.
if its not pulling in the PCM is telling you why.
if its pulling in and dropping out, then pcm tells you why.
if ASD holds in full time cranking PCM is happy in this regard.
there 6 to 8 reason for ASD to drop. one is immoblizer upset.
I will stop here, as spark needs to be corrected.
here is the no start page. spark dead help, knowing that.
sparks dead so no need to read the no start page,
we go right to ASD tests
see the 8 ways? (yours will be less than 8, for 1993)

this is the only tool i know that scans 93/95s

nowt the alarm VTA deal.
The ZJ 1993-1995 VTA does not cut the engine via ASD (IMMO) in the USA, but in Europe it does (if opted there)
see its really the world wide web, and ive no clue where you are or what engine you have.
nor options like VTA (T is for theft)

you need to have it connected to an OBD2 machine and watch if you are missing the cam sensor showing RPMs
or if your missing crank sensors RPMs,
it could be a wiring problem or computer if your seeing the RPMs from both sensors, and the last thing i would check is hooking up a fuel gauge to the reed valve and watch what fuel pressure you have while cranking,if the cam sensor is the culprit it will turn the fuel off after the cranking.

If you still have a cap rotor and ignition wires, it's inside the distributor. If not, it is the part where the distributor used to be (center rear of the engine behind the intake manifold)
