the lower pump is not it,
the large hose not that, is stat housing
the hose that gets hot first, is THAT hose.
USA car, not export.

my guess is you get lost on page 33+
and theses words,
(d) Remove belt from vehicle.
(e) Remove two generator mounting bolts. Do
not remove any wiring at generator. If equipped
with 4WD, unplug 4WD indicator lamp wiring harness
(located near rear of generator).
(f) Remove generator. Position generator to gain
access for thermostat gasket removal
get lost at (F)?????????

At the radiator, locate the large upper hose. Follow it to the engine. Where it connects to the engine, that is the thermostat housing.

No sir they will not interchange. i worked at a transmission shop for 7 years. the inline 6 has a 500 trans in it and the v8 has a 518 trans in it. the bellhousings are different.

Where is thermostat located on a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8 ? Thanks

Locate the top radiator hose...follow it down to the motor...the housing that the hose connects to is where the thermostat is..usually there are 2 screws to remove and then it just comes up and the thermostat is inside

10w-30 or 5w-30 regular oil it should also say right on the fill cap if it is an OEM part
