Try the maf sensor or fuel pressure regulator, if you have no exhaust leaks or timing issues.

SOURCE: Rough idle 1994 chevy pick up k1500 4x4

I had a 96 GMC 1500 with a 5.7 ltr. It would idle rough, especially on start up. After replacing everything under the sun, it turned out the ECM (computer) was shot. I found a used one and plugged it in and it ran fine. I think I paid 50 bucks or so for it. If you know someone with a truck like yours, plug theirs in and see if it fixes it.

Where is the passing gear on a 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante

'Passing gear' is a term that means the transmission is down-shifted to a lower gear (e.g., from 5th gear to 4th gear) for improved acceleration to pass another vehicle. There is no physical component called a passing gear in the transmission.
To engage the 'passing gear' with an automatic transmission should require nothing more than pressing the accelerator pedal down firmly. The transmission should downshift automatically to the next lower gear (sometimes it will downshift two gear ratios, depending on your speed and how far you depress the accelerator pedal).

1995 chevy 1500, 4.3 vortec engine was replaced to 5.7 and computer. Everything else stayed the same. when pushed to passing gear at low speed, engine accelerates and blows/pops through TBI carb.

Check and make sure the distributer is advancing the timing. If you have a timing light mark the balancer with chalk or a paint stick. When you rev the engine the mark should move. If not you have a bad distributer.

I have a 1995 chevy k1500 silverado with a 6in lift.when I accelerate I get a bad vibration once I get up to speed its fine until I accelerate again

Some things not balanced start with basics have a good look at tyes that can cause it slightly buckled wheel could cause it drive shaft been whacked on something could cause it even a wharped disk on brakes could cause it broken engine mount does that all the time 9 times out of 10 its a engine or gear box mount because when you accelerate the engine slightly twist and it pulls everything out of line any way thats a start for you before you start looking at exspensive stuff cya Neil

Vehicle seems to not be getting enough gas because it chokes up when u accelerate and dies when you put it in gear

it could be the pickup screen in the tank is clogged from dirt in the tank being stirred up when you ran it dry then put gas in you will have to drop the tank to look at it or dirt could have made it to your injectors or throttle body

My 2003 chevy tahoe will not accelerate pass 30mph what could be the problem?

Your problem could be in the Transmission, but most likely it is caused by a sensor / electric part called an Accellerator-Pedal-Position-Sensor (APP-Sensor. If it is the APP Sensor, then you should be getting a signal in the information center saying "reduced power" or a Check-Engine Light.
