William, normally there is a vacuum line routing diagram under the hood of your vehicle showing the locations. Diagram could be on under side of hood, on radiator cradle or inner fender. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

It could well be a vacuum leak, use a spray can of starting fluid or carb cleaner to spray around the intake manifold and vacuum hoses to locate leaks. I hope this helps. Take care.

How to replace pcv valve on 2001 nissan quest

It will be located in one of the valve covers but nissan has used a fixed orifice crankcase vent sysrem which would just be a vacuum line fittings with a small opening inside the line from that valve or orifice would connect to manifold vacuum (intake maifold after the throttle plates)

Also could be cooling fans. Did you notice if your fans are working when it is hot? Could be bad fan relay which would keep your fans from turning.

Check around the intake area, The cruise control vacuum should be connected near the intake of the engine.
