I have a 1995 Toyota Tacoma. The AC works intermittently. It's been doing this for 2-3 years. Sometimes it will work all day. Sometimes it works for a few hours, then I turn the vehicle off and after awhile when i start it back up it works again. I'm sure it's not the freon or a leak otherwise it would have stopped working altogether years ago. Someone once said it might be a vacuum problem. Any ideas on things I can check?

there is a TSB for a noisy blower motor and not working except on Hi, both cover under 36K miles, repair includes replacing blower motor and or resistor block and harness, judging your problem can be a bad resistor block and harness. hope it helps
